A talented golden retriever was caught on camera balancing numerous foods on its head as the owner was slowly adding more to the stack.
While most dog owners are pleased if their pets understand and obey simple commands such as ‘sit,’ ‘stay,’ and ‘drop it,’ some are willing to push their luck further and attempt to teach them more complex tricks.

One of the most popular tricks that pet owners have recently come up with includes balancing different types of foods on their dogs’ heads to train them patience and obedience.
One such dog who mastered the art of balancing foods is Pumpkin the Golden Retriever from Lititz, Pennsylvania.
In a short video, Pumpkin is seen balancing a corn cob on top of a butter stick on top of a hamburger on top of her head.
Another talented Golden Retriever is Nelly from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who can balance various objects on her snout.
Terry Peters, the proud owner of Nelly, has created an Instagram account where he shares pictures of Nelly balancing foods and objects on her head.
Some of these items include a glass of juice, a whole baguette, a toy sword, a flower vase, a coconut, and as many as 50 pringles.
“I started putting things on Nelly’s nose during puppy training as a sit and stay exercise,” Terry said in an interview with Mrs Sizzle.
“While I was recuperating from shoulder surgery I started Nelly’s Instagram as a distraction and it quickly became a daily routine for both of us.
“We challenge each other to come up with something new and different every day.”
As the proud owner revealed, they had so far managed to balance over 500 different foods and objects on Nelly’s snout.
