One Afghani female TV presenter is explaining her misery after a group of Taliban forces stormed into her workspace, ordering all women to leave.
The shocking incident left the woman feeling horrified as the men began berating all the presenters for wearing make-up too. Now, news reports confirm how all female news anchors are banned from appearing online.
A total of three different news anchors were barred from their respective positions and hence not allowed to enter into their offices after the gruesome incident that left many feeling terrified beyond words could describe.
The anchors were not only threatened by the Taliban forces to go home immediately, but they were also reportedly told to never return again. One such anchor who identified herself as Mehr Mursal Amiri is now being forced into hiding, right after she was sent back home, away from the studio.
On the other hand, renowned television presenters who go by the name of Shabnam Daran and Khadija Amin from RTA were also reportedly sent away by the forces. Meanwhile, local media outlets also spoke about how Governor Salima Mazari was also being targeted to go back into her home.
Fortunately, Afghan superstar singer Aryana Sayeed is one of the lucky few who managed to escape, right in time via the USAF flight this past week.
The Afghan Islamists burst into the television station network of RTA Studio where many described the incident as panic and fear gripping the air. They berated all those who refused to listen as well as those who did not wear a hijab or had makeup on their faces.
As more and more days go by, the fear of the Taliban taking a stronghold into the country increases with women being forced into hiding as strict Sharia law emerges within the nation.
