Tanya Roberts’ partner Lance O’Brien learned that the actress was still alive after he and her rep announced her death.

O’Brien was filming an interview when he received a call from the hospital where Roberts is receiving treatment.

Video shows him crying into the phone while saying: “Now, you are telling me she’s alive?”

O’Brien then broke down in tears and told the interviewer for Inside Edition: “The hospital is telling me she is alive.

“They are calling me from the ICU team.”

TMZ reported on Sunday that Roberts had passed away after collapsing at her home in Hollywood Hills. Her rep, Mike Pingel, had said that she died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

“As I held her in her last moments, she opened her eyes. I was able to see her beautiful eyes one last time. Tanya had the most beautiful eyes,” O’Brien said.

But on Monday, Pingel announced that O’Brien received a call from the hospital and was informed that his wife was still alive.

“Lance truly believed Tanya had died,” he said.

O’Brien said hospital staff told him that the actress “had no hope to live.”

“When she saw me and I was there, I saw her eyes open up. I felt good. I said: ‘Hey, her eyes are opening. Her eyes are opening.’ They told me that’s just a reflex.”

Roberts’ rep said that the Bond Girl’s condition is ‘dire.’ Speaking to People, he said: “Currently, it’s not looking good. Hold her in your prayers.”

Aside from being a Bond Girl, Roberts also starred in Sins of Desire, Deep Down, Night Eyes, Favorite Deadly Sins, Legal Tender, Inner Sanctum, Almost Pregnant, Tourist Trap, and more.

She helped launched the TV show Mike Hammer after starring as a secretary in the film.
