That 70s Show star and former Bond Girl has passed away at the age of 65.
Tanya Roberts was rushed to a hospital and placed on a ventilator after she went out for a walk with her dog. According to TMZ, she collapsed after returning home and never got better.
Mike Pingel took to Roberts’ Facebook page and confirmed that she had died.
“I am very sad to have to post this,” he wrote. “Yes, Tanya passed away today. I’m heartbroken. Mike Pingle.”
Sources told TMZ that Roberts seemed ‘perfectly healthy’ before she collapsed.
Roberts, who was born Victoria Leigh Blum, tied the knot with Barry Roberts when she was 19. They did not have any children.
She was a fashion model in her late teens before she started training to become an actress at The Actors Studio, where she began using her stage name Tanya Roberts.
It was in 1975 when she made her film debut in Forced Entry. She then appeared in 1976’s The Yum Yum Girls, followed by The Private Files of J. Edgar Hoover in 1977.
Roberts was then chosen to replace Shelley Hack in the fifth installment of Charlie’s Angels, playing Julia Rogers.
She played the title character in the fantasy movie Sheena before she received the ‘Bond Girl’ status in A View To A Kill in 1985.
Roberts also started in Sins of Desire, Deep Down, Night Eyes, Favorite Deadly Sins, Legal Tender, Inner Sanctum, Almost Pregnant, Tourist Trap, and more.
She helped launched the TV show Mike Hammer after starring as a secretary in the film.
Roberts is survived by her current husband, Lance, and her sister Barbara Chase.
