People visit Paris all the time for the sights but a teenager named Adam Lockwood decided to soak it all in from a rather unusual perch: by dangling one-handed from a crane 650 feet above the street. Admittedly, the view was spectacular as he had a unique view of the Tour Alto, Paris’s tallest building, and the scenic River Seine.

The 18-year-old is no stranger to such stunts as he’s been climbing cranes, buildings, and bridges for the past three years now.

His latest brush with death shows him on a crane in Puteaux, a western suburb of Paris. The clip starts with Lockwood strolling through the unfinished building before mounting a bridge that connected it to the crane.

Using various ladders, he climbs up to the crane but because the hatch was locked, he climbed outside the ring to reach the jib.

The decision to climb the crane came amid a 6-day trip to Paris with a friend.

The heart-stopping video shows a shirtless Lockwood hanging on with just one arm on the side of the crane before he pulled himself up. As he hangs upside down, he adds: “Wow, you have no idea what this feeling is like you know.”

Because he’s been doing this for three years, he claims that he felt no fear doing the stunt.

“There are words to describe how dangling at that height feels, but I wasn’t scared.

“I don’t really feel fear anyway, but when you’re doing something as serious as a 200-meter dangle there’s no room for fear.

“Fear increases the chance of something going wrong, so you just block it out.”

The teen and his friend managed to sneak into the building site without alerting security.
