A fifteen-year-old boy has created his own home-made laser gun with a 3D printer.
Gabriel McFarlane, from Inverness, Scotland, has brought Star Wars to life by creating a home-made laser gun with a 3D printer.

After being inspired by tech videos, fifteen-year-old Gabriel decided to craft a home-made laser gun to bring Star Wars to life.
Gabriel spent six months inventing the powerful laser gun that can explode balloons, light matches and even melt metal.
Gabriel said he 3D printed the case from models he designed and has a safety switch which is connected to an indicator.
Most of the people are impressed by this invention of Gabriel but a few are scared as it is a dangerous device as it can explode balloons, light matches and even melt metal.
The teenager said he bought the electronic parts from eBay including the laser diode and then 3D printed the case for the gun.
Gabriel said: “I 3D printed the case from models I designed and I have a safety switch which is connected to an indicator. It’s unreal having a sci-fi looking device. It really is amazing.”
“Most people I showed it to were very impressed and somewhere slightly concerned because it is a dangerous device.”
“The amount of precaution I took was insane. I never use it without safety goggles. I spent the past six months building a laser gun between school”.
When he shared the pictures and videos of his invention online, people were left stunned. Internet users praised the young boy for his incredible creation.
The teenager is now planning to build a Tesla coil as his next electronics project after he successfully created the laser gun.
