A teen daredevil has gone viral after filming himself dangling from a crane by his legs without the use of any safety gear.
The incident occurred in Paris, France, where 18-year-old Adam Lockwood scaled a crane located at the height of 650 feet above the ground.
In his pictures, Adam is seen taking a selfie with the view of the iconic River Seine while on top of one of the tallest buildings in the country’s capital.
While plenty of like-minded people praised the young man and called his stunt courageous, many suggested it was incredibly reckless and dangerous.
Despite all the comments, Lockwood promises to scale more bridges and buildings and insists that the death-defying stunts don’t scare him at all.
“Wow, you have no idea what this feeling is like you know,” the teen was heard saying while dangling upside down.
Speaking of his stunt and his passion for scaling tall buildings, the 18-year-old said:
“We think we were close to being 200 meters in the air. We were really near the tallest building in Paris – I’d only ever been to Paris for conventional family holidays before but never for this so it was unreal to see – an insane view.
“There are words to describe how dangling at that height feels, but I wasn’t scared. I don’t really feel fear anyway, but when you’re doing something as serious as a 200-meter dangle there’s no room for fear. Fear increases the chance of something going wrong, so you just block it out.”
As the boy added, he and his friend have been doing this for the last three years and don’t plan on stopping.
“There are risks in everyday life, not just climbing,” Adam said.
