An 18-year-old girl has been charged with terrorism after she shared a series of videos on her social media account saying she’s got coronavirus and wants to infect everyone at Walmart.
In one video, Lorraine Maradiaga said she was going to get a coronavirus test and then said she was going to infect everyone while going around Walmart.
In one video, a nurse can be seen telling the girl to go home after she got a coronavirus test.
In another video, the girl can be seen at Walmart and says she’s going to infect people.
She says: “I’m here at Walmart about to infest everyone because if I’m going down, all you are going down.
In another video, she says: “If you want to get the coronavirus and die, call me. I’ll meet you up and (cough, cough) and I will shorten your life.”
The teen told she “doesn’t give a f**k” about people and her parents also told her to stay at home. She says: “Who the f**k are you to tell me to stay my a** home?”
Later, Carrollton Texas police said in a statement that they have identified the teen as 18-year-old Lorraine Maradiaga and she will be charged with Terroristic Threat.
The police said it is not confirmed whether the teen actually has the virus but they are not taking the threats lightly.
They said: “We have no confirmation Maradiaga is actually a threat to public health. We are, however, taking her social media actions very seriously.”
When the Carrollton Police went to Maradiaga’s house, she was not at her home.
Anyone with information about the girl has been urged to call 972-466-3333 or email CrimeTips@CityofCarrollton.com.
