Mobile phones are becoming more of a problem, and we now have so many incidents proving this.
Especially, the teenagers do not bother about what it could bring to them.
If you are looking for proof of that, we have a popular teenager who has died because she was looking at her mobile phone while crossing the road.
Yes, Sian Ellis is a 15-year-old girl walking back home from school, and last January did not end well.
Just like every other teenager we see in every restaurant and roadside merely looking at their phone or having headphones on, she was distracted by her mobile phone.
Right then, she was struck by a double-decker bus, and that is the result of carelessness.
Her parents are heartbroken, and they have urged the kids to not put themselves in such situations like wearing headphones even on the road and using mobile phones while crossing roads. It is more like a basic knowledge everybody should have.
However, our interest in mobile phones seems to be overriding it. The tragic incident has been a lesson to all the people who have been doing similar stuff around the area.
Her parents have taken a look at the CCTV footage only to see her walking through the school grounds wearing a scarf and simply watching her mobile phone moments before the incident.
Even though the problem is obvious, an official investigation was conducted to understand the problem.
The detective spoke to all the children on the bus and other few people who are in the area while the incident happened to get the key witnesses.
All of them had the same story to say about how Sian was looking at her mobile phone and crossing the road, and one witness has reported that she had her earphones.
