Border Patrol has confirmed how illegal immigrants broke into a Texas Ranch and reportedly stole weapons as well as food sources, amongst a range of other items recently.
The shocking incident took place near the southern border with Mexico where officials confirmed how the migrants went about stealing two loaded handguns, alongside food, clothing, and ammo. Moreover, the suspects were soon identified to be undocumented immigrants.
The incident which unfolded on Tuesday was thankfully intercepted by Border Patrol police who managed to arrive in the nick of time and apprehend those guilty of the act.
In the same way, authorities disclosed how the ranch was located in the Sierra Blanca region of Hudspeth County, where the three burglars barged inside, explained a news release.
Sierra Blanca is just 20 miles away from the northeastern part of the border that the US shares with Mexico. Hence, this was termed to be a rather alarming situation for plenty as the migrant crisis appears to be getting worse with each passing day.
When the agents searched the illegal immigrants, they discovered plenty of ammunition, loaded guns, clothing, as well as food sources that were reportedly stolen from the ranch itself. Authorities also immediately released images of the suspects that proved how they were all males involved in the crime.
But the fact that two of the three suspects were holding loaded handguns was proof that they could have turned a peaceful situation into a very violent one in seconds if Border Patrol did not act swiftly in taking matters into their hands.
Chief Border Patrol officer Sean McGoffin announced during a news conference how all border patrol officials undergo extensive forms of training to deal with situations like these and hence are always prepared to respond to all types of dangerous scenarios.
He also concluded how proud he was of the way the situation was tackled and how the agents responded without any form of hesitation.
