President Biden has been slammed after the White House put out Christmas tree lighting worth nearly $139,000.

Many were quick to point out how the country’s current inflation has made it nothing but a true struggle for the average American, considering price hikes across the board. But seeing this form of extravagance being displayed was definitely not welcomed by the masses who felt it was a tad bit too rich.

Not only will the Christmas tree lighting ceremony cost $131,000, but there is a mega $171,000 being allocated for the live event, confirmed reports.

This is known to be only slightly less expensive than the mega $160,000 spent by the previous Trump administration who dished out that sum in the year 2019 as the ceremony went virtual, due to the pandemic.

Many are seeing the current spending of the Biden administration as being tone-deaf to the countless struggles of the economy which many fear is in shambles, thanks to the President and his administration.

Just recently, a poll conducted regarding the President had many rambling about how strongly they disapproved of his decision making and leadership, with emphasis upon the migrant crisis and the current financial crisis in the country.

In the same way, the President has also been slammed in the recent past for downplaying all of the effects of inflation too.

On the other hand, the lavish spending on Christmas tree lights really brought out mass criticism against Biden on Twitter.

One even went ahead and slammed the president stating, “Your tax dollars are hard at work!” Similarly, another blasted the president by speaking about how there was a lack of Christmas charity, adding how all of those funds could well be used to assist those in need but the administration has other plans.
