7-year-old Layla was a shy girl, but she conquers her fears whenever she’s wearing a Disney costume.
Dressing up has helped this adorable kid feel confident and come out of her shell.
It all started two years ago when Layla’s photographer mom, Camillia Courts, took her to Disneyland’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and bought her a dress. The result came out great, so they’ve decided to start cosplaying since then.
They created an Instagram account disneyinspiredphoto, which now has more than 50,000 followers. Although they hire local seamstress for their costumes, the mom-daughter duo sometimes sews the dresses on their own.
Layla loves to cosplays Disney princesses while her mom plays the villains. They shared that their favorite photoshoot was “The Little Mermaid” where Camillia turned herself into Ursula and Layla was Ariel.
In addition to Disney characters, the 7-year-old also cosplayed Violet from The Incredibles, Rowena Ravenclaw from Harry Potter, and BB-8 and Princess Leia from Star Wars.
