People Around The World Are Gathering At ‘The Joker Stairs’ In New York To Take The Perfect Instagram Picture


Joker’s fans and Instagram celebs are coming to the staircase where Arthur Fleck, aka Joker played by Joaquin Phoenix, went to celebrate his becoming ‘the clown prince of crime.

The staircase in 167th street, Bronx borough, New York, has suddenly become a tourist attraction after the release of the record-breaking movie.

Bronx borough of New York City is already one of the key tourist attractions in the US. This is where the Bronx Zoo, New York Botanical Gardens, and Yankee Stadium are located.

The latest addition, the Joker Staircase on 167th street, has just increased the number of people visiting this area.

Ignacio, a student of psychology and one of the tourists at the staircase, said that he was there because he absolutely loved the movie, Joker.

“I made me try and see the world from another point of view, taking into account the pathologies and psychosis one can suffer from,” Ignacio told Bored Panda.

“Due to DC failing its latest movies, I felt the obligation to support the production of this film.”

Ignacio continued to talk about the staircase, saying that it appears different in the movie than what it is like to see in person.

“The cinematic magic was achieved by four people, the director of photography, the composer, the director, and, of course, Joaquin Phoenix himself,” the DC fan added.

Joker, which revolves around the life of legendary villain Joker from Batman: The Dark Knight, is so far one of the most successful movies ever.

Speaking in terms of monetary success, the movie has so far grossed $737 million across the globe and speculations have it that it will go beyond $800 million in the days to come.

Film industry experts expect Joker would raise as much as $900 million worldwide, which will make it the highest-grossing R-rated movie ever.
