The Simpsons have been on the air for about 30 years now and it is a known fact that it is loved by all.
Although the show is an animated cartoon series, it suits more to the adults rather than the kids.
The show has so many aspects which makes it unfit for kids if you peek into the show.
It has been officially on the air by Fox but recent news says that Disney and Fox are margining together and the kind of kids oriented and educational channel Disney is, there is a huge chance that our favorite show The Simpsons does not fit in.
The news is yet to be confirmed that whether the two companies are taking the decision or not but if they did, there is a great chance that the show might be taken down because it does not stand up on the basic grounds of being family friendly as per Disney.
The woman who gives Lisa Simpson’s voice Yeardley Smith said that the company is not in a dilemma but they are going to work according to the legacy of the show. They would cancel the show rather than allowing Disney to make any changes in their legacy.
The woman said that the world is dealing with a severe cultural transition and being the kind of the show The Simpson is, it will always be in the state where people are going to follow it.
Thus changing it will mean playing with the belief of people and that is not the correct thing to be done.
Rather than changing any aspect of the show, it is better the company takes it off the air permanently and let the memories of the show stay in the mind of people.
Disney is yet to say anything about the dispute for the show that released in December 1989. The show has come a very long way and it would be so unfair for future generations if they are not allowed to watch it.
