A British family living in Australia created their own version of Britain by replicating the Greggs bakery in their house.
Along with that, the Brindle family stored their Greggs Down Under shop with real products that they have created with the actual recipes. They did all that in their home in Sydney.
We all use some creativity to keep your family entertained during the coronavirus lockdown. And this family is showing us just how.
Michelle Brindle, along with her husband and two kids, Douglas (6) and Parker (8), spend a couple of hours of their day coming up with this excellently amazing idea.
In an interview, Michelle said that she and her husband thought that it would be a great idea to combine his creativity and her baking skills into a project. And, this would keep the kids off their tablets for an hour or so.
She further added that it was an excellent way to control the amount of snacks children could have. When they go to school, they could only have one piece of fruit and then lunch, but when they are at home, they require snacks constantly.
The family ended up living in Oz after leaving their hometown Croydon last year in July for a life of traveling and adventure.
They came to Australia in December after traveling to 12 countries. They are a huge fan of Greggs and were shocked to learn that Australia lacks in the tasty and cheap fast food department.
Michelle said that food is the biggest struggle for them in Australia, and nothing is the same here as in their country. And, with sets of cardboard and some elbow grease, this family of four made their own version of Greggs.
