A woman attended the funeral of an old woman from Odessa, Texas and stole her ring.
Lois Hicks, from Odessa, Texas, passed away at the age of 88. At her funeral, friends, and family gathered but an unknown person also showed up.
A stranger woman attended the funeral and asked to use the restroom. Instead of using the restroom, she sneaked up to Lois’ casket and stole her ring off her finger.
She then fled the scene after stealing the deceased’s ring. Thankfully, a security camera captured the woman stealing the ring.
When Lois’s daughter named Vel realized that someone had stolen her mother’s ring, she was left shocked. She also found out that the thief had also torn off the skin on her finger while trying to remove the ring.
The daughter was left shocked and felt disgusted. She said: “I can’t believe someone would be that low. It makes me sick to my stomach.”
Luckily, the woman was caught on camera stealing the ring from the deceased woman’s finger. She was arrested a few days later.
She was charged for theft from a human corpse.
When the video of the incident was posted online, people slammed the woman for stooping so low just to get some money.

This is really shocking! It is unbelievable that someone can do such a disgusting thing to a dead woman.
