Two thieves stole a man’s blue car with his 5-year-old son still inside after saying they wanted to give it a ‘test drive.

The 30-year-old father from Adelaide, Australia was trying to flog his vehicle on Gumtree and received a response from a couple who said they wanted to try the car out.
With his son in the back, the dad, who didn’t want to be identified, agreed and sat in the blue 1998 Subaru WRX.
After driving around the block they returned back at the seller’s house and asked if they could switch drivers.
But as the father walked into the front seat, the male thief immediately sped off while the child was still in the back seat with the woman.
The panicked seller tried to follow the thieves in another vehicle, and the couple dropped his son unharmed about 300 meters away.
Authorities are now searching for the suspects and the car.
The father said he was scared for his son’s life when the incident happened and that he had struggled to sleep after that.
“They could do anything… if they had a gun, they could shoot other people,” he told ABC. “I haven’t seen people like this before.”
The father said his wife also got scared and didn’t want to leave the house after the terrifying incident.
“(His son) thought it was just fun or a joke, maybe because he’s little and doesn’t understand.”
Police Commissioner Grant Stevens said the thieves were a ‘disgrace’ and has urged people with any information to contact them.
“As a parent, you would be absolutely horrified to be involved in a situation like that, where a five-year-old child is taken,” said Stevens.
“I think it goes to the nature of the people who committed this crime that they have no regard for the welfare of the child or the parents.”
The male suspect has white complexion, bald, with a medium build and numerous tattoos, while the female suspect also has a white complexion with blonde hair.
