A little boy named Timmy Vick who lives in Delaware needed treatment for a brain tumor, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department and his most loved thing was stolen, his WWE championship belts.
Timmy loves professional wrestling and had collected replicas of World Wrestling Entertainment championship belts.
According to Wrestling Inc, ‘’Sports memorabilia artist, Serg More, of Edgewood, Washington, offered to take the two WWE titles and create them into a personal replica for Vick.’’
When [Timmy’s father] sent me a message and asked me for help, he just was hoping for a discount,” Moreira tells Yahoo Lifestyle.
“I told him to just pay shipping and I would take care of the rest. I felt like it was the right thing to do for Timmy and his family. They have been through so much.”
Timmy’s parents sent the belts to him but unfortunately, when the package arrived his porch, two women came and stole them.
This was a sad moment for little Timmy as his most prized possession was stolen.
The news of theft circulated on social media and Serg More posted the video of the theft on Facebook, writing, “Mother and daughter team stealing from my porch while I am at show.”
The video shows two women grabbing the package and left the place.
Then the two women who stole the belt surrendered and left boxes on More’s door with an apology letter.
The letter stated: “We are so sorry for taking your stuff. Never in a million years would I have expected I would have stolen from a sick five-year-old,” reads the apology letter obtained by Yahoo Lifestyle. “I have a 6 year old myself and am ashamed of what I did.”
“We never wanted to steal a child’s hope,” reads the letter. “After seeing ourselves looking like low lives on the news, we have both decided to get clean and sober.”
“While we are grateful that the suspects returned Timmy’s belts, we would still like to talk to them,” deputies said. “So if you know who they are, we are counting on you to also do the right thing and call or message the Edgewood Police Department.”
“We can’t wait to see Sergio’s handy work after he completes these belts and ships them off to Timmy Vick who is patiently waiting for them!” Edgewood police said.
