A driver was seen hitting the almost empty road in Germany with a speed of more than 230 mph.
Due to the country-wide lockdown, the roads have been deserted with little to no traffic.
Taking advantage of the empty road, this driver decided to take his Ferrari out on a stroll.
A video has been surfaced where a driver is seen tearing Ferrari LaFerrari along with autobahn. The video shows the dashboard of the sports car as the engine started, and the driver accelerated the vehicle into high speed.
The vehicle he was driving is worth approximately Euro 1.7 million and was seen riding through an unrestricted area of the freeway.
The car was racing between 217 and 224 mph and, at a point, was seen passing by other vehicles on an empty carriageway. This was the point where the camera fell down and revealed the popular badge of Ferrari on the steering wheel.
The autobahn appeared to be completely deserted, and the driver was able to drive in the middle lane as the building and trees at the side hurled out of the view.
The driver released the video on Instagram, and as of now, it has collected over 84,000 views.
Basically, a Ferrari LaFerrari is capable of hitting 62 miles in an hour and features a v12 exhaust. The manufacturer no longer makes this model, and the last one was released in 2016. The production was halted after the company started concentrating on building Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta.
Germany has made an announcement that it will be re-opening its shops, taking its first step towards easing the lockdown. The country on Monday reported 1,775 new positive cases, which brought the total number of cases to 141,672.
It marked the lowest increase of the COVID-19 since March 18, 2020. Viewing the decreasing trend, the country is planning to return to its normal course, one step at a time.
