Meghan Markle’s father Thomas Markle has criticized his daughter for disrespecting the Queen over the Sussex Royal branding issues.
After the Queen told Meghan and Harry to drop the word “Royal” from their official branding, the couple hit back saying the Queen had no ‘jurisdiction’ over the word ‘Royal’ overseas.
The couple’s Instagram account ‘SussexRoyal’ and their personal website use the word ‘Royal’ and the Queen has asked them to drop the word ‘Royal’ from their official branding.
After the couple was banned from using the word ‘Royal’, they posted on their website: “While there is not any jurisdiction by The Monarchy or Cabinet Office over the use of the word ‘Royal’ overseas.”
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘Sussex Royal’ or any iteration of the word ‘Royal’ in any territory (either within the UK or otherwise) when the transition occurs Spring 2020.”
Meghan’s father Thomas Markle has now slammed his daughter Meghan and her husband Harry for this statement and said they have ‘no right to speak to the Queen that way’ and it is an insult to the Queen and the British people.
Mr. Markle said he is very upset with Meghan and Harry and they have no right to use the word Royal anymore.
He also accused Meghan of dumping him and then the British family.

He said: “My daughter dumped me one day before she got married, she has dumped my family, she has dumped Doria’s family, she has dumped every family and now she is dumping the British family.”
On 31st March, the couple will become financially independent and will no longer be representing the Queen.
The couple is now angry as they feel they are being treated differently as compared with other royals.
The couple wrote on their website that other titled members of the royal family are allowed to seek employment outside of the institution but a 12-month review period has been put in place for them.
