Mother of Tim Tebow – a famous athlete – has revealed that the doctors had suggested her to abort her child but she refused.
Tebow’s mother Pam Tebow found out she was pregnant when she was 37 years old.
Pam was told by doctors that she wasn’t carrying a baby but “a mass of fetal tissue”.
Getty ImagesDoctors said that it needed to be removed and suggested her to abort her child in order to save her life.
Pam said during an interview with Focus on the Family:
“We didn’t really have to make a decision at that time. We had made it years previous because we were determined to trust the Lord with the children that He would give us. And if God called me to give up my life, then He would take care of my family.”
Pam felt she’d lose her child almost every day but she trusted God.
When Tim was born, the doctors in Manila found out that the placenta was not properly attached during the entire pregnancy and the birth was truly a miracle.
Pam said: “It takes a lot of faith to stand for life, today abortion is everywhere and affects everyone. You’re exercising that big-faith muscle when you support this ministry.”
“He gives us so many opportunities to invest in heavenly things. We need to invest in pro-life organizations mainly because they save lives and invest in women and moms. And we get a blessing, too.”
“We need to stand up for these special kids — they are a gift from the Lord.”
Her story is truly inspiring and she is sharing her story with the world to encourage others to believe in God.
