A terrifying video footage has emerged that shows a toddler climbing out of a fifth floor window and walking on the ledge of an apartment block in Tenerife.
It is believed that the toddler was alone at the home and his parents forget to close the window. The toddler then came out of the fifth floor window and walked around the outside of the apartment block and then went back.
At one point, it seems the child is losing its balance when he was close to the window.
The horrifying video was shared on the I Love Tenerife Facebook page and instantly went viral after it was posted online, leaving people stunned.

The video was posted with the caption: “OMG! This toddler managed to climb out of this building window whilst the parents were taking a shower. This apparently happened over the weekend at a property in Playa Paraiso, Tenerife!.”
People were left shocked and criticized the parents for their negligence after watching the video.
One user said: ‘So both adults were taking a shower and no one was keeping an eye on the toddler!’ while another wrote: ‘If you were on holiday with little ones in an apartment would you not surely leave one parent watching whilst the other had a shower???’
The third one said: ‘We have all turned our backs for 2 mins sure. But in an apartment and you were taking a shower surely you would be extra secure with locks on doors and windows due to the obvious added danger.’
While one user defended the parents as the user wrote: ‘How does anybody know there were 2 parents there. I’m sure the parent/parents thought the window/door was closed. Whilst this could of been very tragic, let’s not judge unless we know the whole story and just be glad the little1 is ok’.
