A toddler was left in extreme pain and blood all over his feet and in his shoes as he wore jelly shoes just for 10 minutes.
His feet had deep cuts due to the straps of the shoes and eventually, his feet had swollen up.
This is why worried mom of the 2 years old boy is sending out a message to spread awareness of how what happened to her baby boy can happen to any kid.
Holly Marie Wright is the mother of Kaiden, a 2 years old boy who suffers from autism. The mother-son duo went to the supermarket to get a few things when Kaiden started crying.
At first, he was sobbing but eventually grew louder. He refused to walk on his own and Wright could see drops of blood dripping down the shoes. She carried him in her arms and took him home.
By now the blood was everywhere. Her carpet had a big splash of blood coming out of the baby’s feet. She was worried and as soon as she took the straps of the sandals off she saw deep cuts on his feet, covered in blood.
She said that the boy was wearing his brand new Jelly shoes.
She said that she went to the main center to complain about the shoes but in her response, she received that they will see to it if they get more similar complaints.
This is why she is trying to reach out through social media now.
She shared her story on social media. There were some in her support and some others who were not. One user commented “this is a mistake, the shoes are not supposed to be worn without socks. They should write that on the box.”
She then later updated her social media by saying that the word is spreading and she is happy to receive the amount of support she is getting.
