A 34-year-old woman was born with a limb abnormality and damage to her spinal cord and when she met someone who was exactly like her, the moment was incredible.
Amy Alamillo Siesel was born with a limb abnormality. She spent her life feeling alone.
One day, when she found a Facebook group named the Lucky Fin Project – an online community where people with limb abnormality can share their stories, she decided to attend its Lucky Fin meet-and-greet.
All her life, she wanted to meet people who were exactly like her and when that day came, she was happier than ever.
A one-year-old boy named Joseph Tidd, from Orlando, Florida, was also one of them.
When Amy noticed him, she went to meet him and felt an instant connection.
Joseph, who was born with a condition called Symbrachydactyly and has a limb abnormality, was there with his mother, Colleen who wanted to show her son that he was not alone.
When Amy approached Joseph, he was a little hesitant at first. But when he noticed that Amy had a limb abnormality just like him, he hugged her.
The heart-melting moment left everyone teary-eyed. The video was shared online and received thousands of comments. One user commented on the video: ‘Beautiful people! That little boy’s smile is priceless!’
