A 22-year-old mother woke up to go to the toilet and discovered her toddler had stolen her £17 MAC lipstick and smeared it all over the house.
Cheeky Harper-Jean Cook, 2, decided to do something mischievous as she noticed her mother sleeping.
The tot sneaked into her mum Kiara Chandler’s bedroom and picked her ‘MAC So Chaud lipstick’ to paint herself and the whole house with it. The 22-year-old mother left shocked when she saw her house that included carpet, furniture and walls painted with her red lipstick.
Kiara filmed the reaction of her baby girl as she got caught red-handed and tried to look innocent. She shared the video on Facebook and one of her friends compared the toddler with the animated character Anna Kendrick from the movie Trolls.
Kiara said: ”She just turned to me and told me that she looked ‘beautiful, like a clown. When I first saw the chaos I was a little cross, but it was hard to be mad at her because the situation is so funny.”
”Her entire face is stained completely red. Harper’s reaction was, ‘You don’t have to shout at me just talk normally, I am only stood here.’
The young mother revealed how her daughter rubbed the lipstick all over the walls but she felt relieved that the tot only used one.
”I reckon she managed to cause all the mess in less than 20 minutes. She had sneaked into my bedroom while I was still sleeping and nicked the lipstick from my dressing table.”
”She had taken it back it into her room and began rubbing it all over the walls and banister. I wear that lipstick every day and each one costs £17. Fortunately, she only used one.”
Little girl’s dress was completely ruined with lipstick stains and Kiara said she would have to throw it. The mother jokingly said that after seeing what her toddler did, her friends might think again having kids in future.
She added: ”Her favorite Frozen dress is really stained and I might have to throw it out. The lipstick is totally destroyed and the remains are still missing somewhere. I think it has put a few of my friends off from having children.”
