In a terrifying incident that happened in India, a two years old toddler died as she was playing in her grandparent’s house when she was electrocuted by a charger when she had put it in her mouth as the charger was still plugged into a live switch.
The two years old toddler lived in Delhi, the capital city of India with her mother Razia and her father Shahid.
As it was the holy month of Ramadan, Razia wanted to travel to her parent’s place in Bulandshaher of Uttar Pradesh.
Razia and her two years old daughter went away to her parent’s place to offer prayers. Her parents were overjoyed to see their daughter and their granddaughter.
As soon as the two arrived, Razia left the toddler in the room and went outside the house. The toddler was playing alone in the room.
A toddler playing alone in a room is often a call to a tragedy and that is exactly what happened here.
Someone had put a charger in the switch as along with the phone plugged in. however, after a while, the person took the phone out and left the charger still plugged in the socket with the switch left on.
The cable of the charger must be hanging down and the toddler, like they always do, must have put it in its mouth and got electrocuted.
As soon as the incident happened, the family of the toddler got in and rushed her to the nearest hospital where the baby was announced dead on arrival.
The police said that none of the family members have approached them and has filed any kind of complaint. They said that if they get any complaint of the case they will act upon it immediately but it looks like there is no culprit to catch.
