Travelling for long distance can be tedious.
Especially, the process involved in getting to your required destination can be draining. More so, when it comes to packing your luggage and waiting in the long queue to submit your travel documents.
Additionally, it becomes troublesome when you are traveling with kids and you have to bear all stress by yourself. And obviously, if the toddlers are young, then you can be prepared for one hell of a time. Literally, you will find yourself running along the streets trying to contain them.
Though don’t beat yourself up, you are a good parent. It’s just that kids tend to lose patience fast, particularly, when they have to wait for long.
Recently, at Los Angeles International Airport, a certain toddler threw tantrums all over the airport. Actually, he got the better part of his mom who sat down and burst into tears.
Beth Bornstein Dannington, who was at the airport, shared the post on Facebook. And within three days the post had over 33,000 reactions and over 10,000 shares.

I was boarding my plane to Portland but, apparently, something happened while we were patiently waiting. There were two planes, going to different directions. Then, this kid started throwing tantrums. He was about 18 months old. Actually, he started having a complete meltdown, running around the sits, yelling, crying out loud and throwing himself on the ground. Apparently, he did not want to board a plane which was not going to Portland.
On the other hand, her mom tried the best she could to calm him down but her efforts were futile. He could hear none of it. Obviously, from the look of things, the young mom looked tired and worn out. More so, she was heavy with child and therefore the situation proved to be a challenge. Whenever she tried to approach the young boy, he would run away screaming.
Now his mom was too tired, and she sat down on the floor, held her hands towards the face and burst into tears. Beside her, was his son still throwing tantrums. Then, as women who were around the terminus, we must have been six or seven of us, we gathered around the young lady and his son.
Actually, I sang the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” song to the little boy, while another woman picked up an orange and peeled it. Similarly, another beautiful lady picked up a toy from her bag and offered it to the little boy. Now, since the boy had managed to calm down, her mom took out the Sippy cup from her bag and handed it over to his son.
Apparently, it was so gorgeous, that women who did not know each other came together and helped the young boy calm down. Finally, she was able to get his son on the plane. Well, it actually occurred to me when women gather together for a similar mission, they can actually do great things in this world.
Now, isn’t it amazing when people come to your aid, especially when you are out of solutions?
Kindly, share if you are inspired by the generosity of these women!
