There must have been at least one moment in your life when you wished you were a kid again.
It doesn’t matter what prompted that thought. Maybe things are a little rough at work and your boss is giving you grief about one thing or another. Or perhaps you just received a stack of bills and realize how far behind on mortgage payments you are.

All of these things are enough for even the most responsible person to think back on those times when they were kids and all they had to think about was what food they were going to eat or what toy they were going to play.
Of course, things like not being able to control your bladder or your sphincter don’t enter into your thoughts because only the happiest memories rank high among the things one is most likely to remember at the snap of a finger (and with good reason).
There is something mesmerizing and infectious about the innocent joy that children find in even the most incongruous items. A fluffy pillow is as much capable of triggering intense laughter as a purpose-built infant toy would. And if you just watch these infants at play, you’ll soon find the corners of your lips tugging upwards even before you know it.
This innocent joy at being able to find something enjoyable and funny in everyday items or events is probably what we instinctively miss most about being infants and children. With all the pressures of adult life combined with all the biases that have been accumulated over a lifetime, sometimes our reactions to certain things are so constrained that we are in danger of being called grouches if we’re not careful.
And this is why videos like this one where a child is innocently displaying his happiness over something as ordinary as a horse-shaped toy are valuable because they can set us back to center and realize that there is a lot about life that is worth being happy about.
The video shows young Sawyer having a fit of the giggles as his dad brings the stuffed toy close to his face. For some reason, Sawyer finds that very funny and just can’t stop laughing at how close the toy is. And no matter how many times the dad keeps bringing the toy close, Sawyer seems to have an endless supply of laughter to accompany this little bonding moment with his dad.
