With the breakout of E.
coli people, companies, and the health departments are all worried and are finding ways to deal with the same. Companies, as well as health departments, are looking for a way to find out where the infection is coming out from.
And with some researches, it has been found that the same is coming from ground beef.
Because of the same, a Georgian company has made an announcement recalling 113,000 pounds of ground beef as they doubt that the product can be contaminated after reports have been suggesting the same.
To protect their consumers from getting affected by any sickness, they are calling the product back.
K2D Foods presented their concern to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and then they made a call back for the batch that is supposed to be contaminated with E. Coli.
According to the reports the product was packed in cardboard boxes with the label of “Ground Beef Puck” stuck to it. The dates of production of the products are March 26 then March 29 then April 2 then April 10 and lastly April 12.
The meat was sent to the restraints around the country and probably many restraints would have used at least some of the meat.
For the authorities who are extremely concerned for the same, it is going to be a very difficult job. It is almost impossible to find out how many and which all restraints are using the product and serving it to the customers.
By the time authorities will be able to do the same, they will be all done with it. No one has any idea which burger patty has this meat and who is the one eating it.
So, rather than eating out at this time, it is better to eat at home and avoid ground beef for some time. This is not the first case as ground beef has already been found contaminated by E. Coli in a few other companies too.
