There are many things in life that can amaze us and leave us speechless, and the beginning of new life is definitely one of them.
As anyone with children knows, birth is a true miracle and a life changer.
For that reason alone, many believe that we should talk more openly about it and celebrate it to whatever extent possible. With that purpose in mind, the ‘Birth Becomes Her’ initiated the 2018 photography contest that aimed to honor maternity and birth.
To participate in this contest, the applicants had to capture inspiring and breathtaking moments that fully represent this unique experience.
Their works were divided into five different categories, including Maternity, Labor, Birth, Fresh, and Breastfeeding.
While the leads of the contest received 966 impressive submissions from all over the globe, 20 have been selected as the winners. The international jury consisted of 16 judges, and the people had the chance to vote for their favorite as well.
