Tom Cruise has started shooting for the sequel of ‘Top Gun’ after more than three decades since the original movie released.
Top Gun, was an iconic American action drama film starring, Tom Cruise, the original one was filmed in 1986 when Tom Cruise was only 24-years-old.
Now, 32 years later, the cast and crew have united once again for the much-anticipated sequel to the movie. Shooting began in San Diego recently and Cruise was snapped making a comeback to his unforgettable role as LT. Pete Maverick Mitchell.
The 56-year-old Cruise was looking as young as before, he looked completely chilled. He spotted on a motorcycle while shooting and donning the quintessential Maverick getup, a pair of aviators and a slick bomber jacket.
The pictures from the set went viral, reporters and fans could not control to comment about how Cruise looks like he has not aged a day since the movie was originally released in the late 80’s.
The sequel delayed because the movie’s original director Tony Scott, who was set to direct the second installment, tragically committed suicide in 2012.
He was the best when it comes to directing action and thriller films. At present, Joseph Kosinski will be directing Top Gun: Maverick. In the past, he has worked on films such as Tron: Legacy, Oblivion, Gran Turismo, and cult favorite, The Twilight Zone.
Maverick is expected to be mentoring a new generation of pilots including the son of his deceased sidekick, Nick ‘Goose’ Bradshaw.
The Cruise was snapped driving a limited edition Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon, according to the Daily Mail. The Superbike, priced at $30,000, features a powerful 1000cc four-cylinder with 200bhp and a top speed of 209mph.
It is one of the fastest motorbikes on the market allowed on the road, but only 120 of them were ever manufactured. Cruise wore an olive-colored jacket, a white shirt underneath, denim bottoms, and a pair of boots. He is looking dashing as always.
