Vava’u Island is one of the most beautiful islands in Tonga, and visiting the town gives another level of happiness to people. The life of people in Tonga is straightforward and easygoing.
The city has 100,000 citizens who have their primary employment season when the tourists come to the town. During the offseason, the citizens work in the construction sites for employment and also do many more things.
The people living in this city are simple and mostly farmers. So while you are visiting the city, you will find a lot of farm animals here and there like cows, chickens, pigs, and horses.
As there is not much fencing done for these animals, they roam around freely in the front lawn.
It is one of the biggest problems for the city as they lack the resources and cannot provide everything to the people and animals.
Recently, a tourist helped to untangle a cow that got tangled in the rope it was tied with. The rope was around 7 meters long, and the cow got his head and legs wrapped in it.
For hours it stood there in the same tangled position, but soon a tourist saw the poor cow and came to rescue it.
The tourist was coming in from Canada, and when he asked the driver to stop the taxi for helping the cow, the driver didn’t understand this unusual request.
As the cow wasn’t comfortable around strangers, so the tourist very smartly made sure that it keeps moving in the right direction and untangle itself. After a few rounds around the tree in the right direction, the cow was successfully untangled and free. Finally, the cow was able to move around have eat the grass it was trying to have earlier.
