A small town in Italy has tested with zero coronavirus cases as the authorities forced the population of the town to take the test more than once.
Vo’ Euganeo is located just 30 miles away from Venice in Italy and has a population of 3,300 people only.
The tiny population of this small village was asked to take coronavirus tests more than ones even though if the person was showing no symptoms.
Anyone with the positive result on the test was instantly put in quarantine.
This helped in controlling the virus in just 2 weeks. It fell down from 3% to .25 percent.
Governor of the region Veneto said that Vo’ Euganeo is the safest and the healthiest place in the country while the rest of the country still struggles with the virus.
In Italy, about 31,500 people have already tested positive in the country and more than 2,500 people have died due to the epidemic.
After China, Italy has been hit by the sickness the hardest.
The aggressive treatment of testing each and every person for the virus is said to be the best way to deal with the virus.
World health leaders are supporting and appreciating Italy’s efforts for the same.
While the method is being appreciated and is proving to be the greatest measure, the UK is doing the right opposite to it.
In the UK, only the people who are severely ill or are already in the hospital are being tested for the virus.
Vo’ Euganeo went on lockdown on 22nd of February after a 77 years old man who worked as a bricklayer died of the virus.
This lighted a spark of fear in the entire country.
The man died on the 21st of February and by 22nd of February, the entire region was closed down.
They had also closed their borders and made a cut from the entire country.
