A social media influencer has been under fire ever since sharp-eyed fans spotted the exact same clouds in several of her photos from different times and locations.
While there are plenty of people who make a living from traveling to exotic places and recording their adventures, many of them like to play with photo editing to make their pictures more attractive and get more views on social media.
As Matt Navarra spotted and shared on Twitter, one Argentinian travel blogger, Tupi Saravia, is always accompanied by the same set of clouds wherever she goes, suggesting that the majority of her photos are edited.
As some people pointed out, there’s a chance that the woman never even went to those places as her pictures from countries such as Indonesia and Thailand could be entirely fake.
“She’s able to influence consumers and weather patterns,” one viewer joked after the blogger’s photos went viral.
“This really bums me out. There’s so many people who want what she has: a fabricated online reality,” another one added.
Another person opened up a more serious debate by saying: “To be serious for a sec, isn’t this kinda strange behavior? It goes to prove that the digital world and the real world really are night and day.point 395 |

While some slammed the influencer for sharing edited photos, others rushed to her aid and claimed that a few clouds don’t really distort the reality in a bad way. Some also added that such practices are extremely common when it comes to pictures of social media influencers.
Saravia also spoke out and claimed she was left confused by the negative response from the internet.
“I really don’t see the big deal, I never lied about it. I haven’t done anything wrong, and it was never my intention,” she said.
