After leaving high school and all the fun behind, the closest people left you in life are your co-workers.
They are always right next to you, even if you don’t want them to be.
While you are at your job all the time, working hard and coping with things, it is also important to know your co-workers because they are always going to be around and eventually, they will become an important part of your life because of your job.
Umar was working in a company and here is how he has shared his story.
Umar writes, “This guy at work is Jewish, and he is aware that I am a Muslim. This is the one thing he always keeps reminding me of at several occasions.
For a business sales related conference, we were in a resort for a couple of days and our schedule was very tight with one after another conference assigned. We sat for lunch and then asked me if they were allowing me the time for prayers.
In another instance, he used to bring food for co-workers at least twice a month. On this one day, he brought doughnuts and came to me to say that he has made sure after checking twice that they were only using vegetable oil.
The most recent incident was when I was having a bad headache and I asked him if he has any painkillers. He said that the tablets he has have a coating of gelatin and so he told me that he is aware that I cannot have them.
From the very beginning, I knew that the man was different from other people and that truly knows my religion. He also said that he was more caring than others in his office and all he did, he did it out of genuine feelings.
He was the only one in the office who truly cared about everyone.
