The man who was walking his dog out in the woods got struck by a falling branch in the middle of wild winds.
There is a reason we should not leave our house or a building when there is a wind storm outside. It is not a smart idea and that is what has happened here. A man who did not understand how dangerous it could be to walk out of the house in the middle of a wind storm ended up dead.
The 60 years old man who took his dog out for a walk died as a branch fell on him in the woods.
He was walking his dog in Black Wood which is in Woolton in Liverpool on Tuesday.
“We have to sadly announce that the man who was tragically hit by a tree has lost his life in Black Wood in Woolton.” Said a Merseyside policeman.
The man who was 60 was identified and his family members have been informed about his demise in a tragic manner.
To keep the people safe and off the roads, all the roads have been closed down in the area.
The land of wood where the tragedy happened is owned by Liverpool City Council and the council has said that they will help and cooperate in every way possible related to this death.
A spokesman from the council said “The incident happened this morning due to the winds. The council is left shocked and saddened with what happened and has condolences and prayers for the family of the deceased.
The emergency services will remain on the ground for some time and the land is closed to public till it is marked safe again and the storms go off.”
