“You Can’t Trick Me Into Eating Chicken”- Vegan Woman Enraged As Supermarket ‘Tricks Her’ Into Eating Meat


A famous supermarket chain has been accused of ‘intentionally’ placing non-vegan products on vegan shelves and it’s causing a major uproar amongst many.

According to local media outlets, a woman has gone about expressing her absolute dismay and fury after she claims the supermarket intentionally placed meat products on vegan shelves. Moreover, the woman has gone as far as accusing the chain of ridiculous behavior on purpose.

“They just trying to trick people who are vegan into eating meat, there’s no logic to it,” she added.

The shopper who reportedly visited the famous Australian supermarket “Coles” says that she has been shopping here for a while but now she sees and feels the difference of their betrayal. She added how she was a known vegan customer but she also purchased chicken because it was lying on the shelves labeled as vegan.

Hence, now, the woman believes that the supermarket is trying to trick vegans into eating chicken and meat.

Taking her rants to social media, the woman spoke about how disgusted and horrified she felt after making the discovery. On that note, she made it a point to defame the chain by sharing her story with others as a means of raising awareness on the issue.

“How can anyone in their right possible minds place chicken in the vegan section? How much brain do you need to realize that meat is not vegan,” the woman added in a furious tone.

The woman says that the incident also led her to believe that the product was vegan and hence, she was tricked into eating meat.

Now, social media is filled with pictures from the incident which reportedly features the freezer section for vegans. There are plant meatballs, plant dim sims, and then there are chicken nuggets and tenders too. While they are gluten-free, they certainly aren’t vegan, she added.
