Donald Trump said he would knock Joe Biden out in a matter of seconds should the two face each other in the boxing ring.
Calling for a press conference ahead of the match between Vitor Belfort and Evander Holyfield, Former President Donald Trump, who will MC the event, boasted his alleged physical supremacy over President Biden as he insisted he would be his easiest boxing opponent.
As the 45th President claimed, he would be able to knock Biden out in just a matter of seconds. He also insisted that Biden would be his “easiest fight.”
“If I had to box anybody in the world, and I’ll take a pass on the professional boxers because that can be a very dangerous subject, but if I had to box somebody probably my easiest fight would be Joe Biden,” Trump said ahead of the Saturday match.
“He’d go down very, very quickly. He once said ‘oh I’d like to take him behind the bar’ and he’d be in big trouble if he did. I think Biden would go down within the first few seconds.”
During the press conference, Trump also went on to praise Holyfield, whom he befriended years ago, by calling him a “great fighter” with a “tremendous heart.”
“I have been close to Evander, I’ve been with him during some incredible times in his career and I’ve seen him enter a little bit of a bad time but he came out of it,” the former president added.
“He’s a great guy and he’s a great, great fighter. I know Evander’s family. He’s a very special guy – tremendous heart. Now you know Evander was always in incredibly physical shape he probably had zero percent body fat.”
Trump’s comments come years after Biden insisted he would “beat the he** out of Trump” if they were still in high school.
“They asked me would I like to debate this gentleman, and I said no. I said, ‘if we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him,’” Biden said back in 2018.
