Donald Trump has accused Biden of destroying the American dream in a lengthy rant about the president’s $2 trillion infrastructure package.
Taking aim at the 46th US President’s $2.25 trillion infrastructure package, which incorporates the focus on electric vehicles, public transport, and infrastructure modernization among other points of interest, Trump insisted the plans are a “massive giveaway to China.”
According to the former president, the new legislation puts hardworking Americans at risk by enforcing a 7% corporate tax hike – from 21% to 28% – among higher estate taxes and higher taxation of those earning above $400,000.
“Joe Biden’s radical plan to implement the largest tax hike in American history is a massive giveaway to China, and many other countries, that will send thousands of factories, millions of jobs and trillions of dollars to these competitive Nations,” Trump wrote in his statement.
The former president went on to say “America is once again losing the economic war with China” as he insisted Biden’s plan involves the sacrifice of “good paying American jobs.”
“Biden’s policy would break the back of the American Worker with among the highest business tax rates in the developed world,” he raged on.
“Under Biden’s plan, if you create jobs in America, and hire American workers, you will pay MORE in taxes – but if you close down your factories in Ohio and Michigan, fire U.S. workers, and move all your production to Beijing and Shanghai, you will pay LESS.
“It is the exact OPPOSITE of putting America First – it is putting America LAST! Companies that send American jobs to China should not be rewarded by Joe Biden’s Tax Bill, they should be punished so that they keep those jobs right here in America, where they belong.”
Concluding his fiery statement, Trump accused the president of launching a “cruel and heartless attack on the American Dream” and warned it could destroy America’s economy.
