After the outbreak of coronavirus in the U.
S., people were terrified.
There are more and more cases coming up each day.
Regarding the same, President Donald Trump asked the residents to not panic and told them that the virus is curable.
Stephanie Grisham, who is the White House Press Secretary, recently posted a $100,000 check’s image.
The check was addressed in the name of Health and Human Services from Trump.
There were no death cases related to the virus in the U.S. before Saturday and now more than 100 cases and exactly 9 deaths have been reported.
All of these deaths have happened in the state of Washington. On Tuesday afternoon, Trump went to the National Institute of Health and later returned to the White House with top immunologist Anthony Fauci and Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar.
Donald Trump then donated his 2019 fourth quarter’s salary to the HHS and funded the preparedness and response activity of coronavirus.
He did also pledge for donating this amount before entering his office.
From the beginning of his presidency, he has been donating different amounts to various agencies of government.
Earlier also he has donated his salaries to Homeland Security, Transportation and Veterans Affairs. Agencies who are assisting in fighting the opioid crisis have also received help from Mr. President.
Last week, a $2.5 billion supplemental funding request was submitted by Trump’s administration to Congress in order to fight the spread of coronavirus.
And the amount was criticized for being insufficient by the lawmakers and they stated an amount of $8 billion to be funded. Everyone’s expecting a vote on the given package, this week.
For this week, Donald Trump has also planned to give a visit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Headquarters, which is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
