The President of the US has been accused of rape and it is just horrifying for the residents of the country to even hear such terrible news.

The President was publicly accused of raping 20 women. There were essays published in the New York Magazine with titles like Hideous Men.

Jean Carroll, who is a columnist and author, recounts her horrifying encounter with Trump during the mid-’90s in the dressing room of Bergdorf Goodman department.

At that time, the columnist was just 52 years old, and she ran into Trump when he was 50 years old. Trump then told her that he was shopping for a gift, and she agreed to help him search for the right gift.

She recounts how he asked her to try on some lingerie he selected, and she laughed at it, but he held her against the wall and shoved himself inside her while she kept struggling.

She ran out of the dressing room, being scared of whatever happened with her. Since then, she has never had sex with anyone and has her dress from that day hanging in her closet.

Trump responded to the accusation by saying that it’s false and very disgraceful. The story didn’t even make the front paper, and Carroll’s claims were ignored just like that.

It feels like women are only objects in Trump’s world, and they hold value on their physical appearance. There are hideous men everywhere who do such things with the women, and still, it doesn’t affect them.

Carroll just came forward with this issue so that she can raise awareness for other women and encourage them to fight for their voice.

Though it is not known if Donald Trump will ever be held accountable for his behavior towards other women even if their stories are credible. It is important that we raise our voice for such issues.
