Horror unfolded in Germany recently after a car was seen being driven into a giant group of people at a Christmas market in the eastern part of Germany.

The incident reportedly left two people killed and more than 80 injured. The driver of the car was said to be a family doctor and was traveling at dangerously high speeds with his dark BMW.

He was soon arrested after the crash as armed guards surrounded his vehicle as confirmed by government officials recently.

The car’s speed was an astonishingly high, we feared for our lives, one witness shared while describing the carnage that arose after the accident.

The card was reportedly driven a whopping 400m across the giant Christmas market as per one spokesperson for the police.

The suspect was identified as a male of Saudi origin. Among those killed were toddlers, the reports have confirmed while the rest were rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.

Horrifying footage showed kids on the ground, crying and screaming for help as smaller crowds gathered around those injured.

One witness described the incident as a war zone while another shared how the target was innocent families with kids who were exploring the fairytale area.
