Attorney Fani Willis tells The Daily Best that there have been secret proceedings, documents and recordings for the investigation are needed to be kept for future demonstrations.

A case that Willis has been involved with is the infamous phone call with former president Donald Trump, revealing evidence of Trump telling Georgia’s Secretary of State to “find” 11,780 votes.

There has been an assembled team of individuals to work on the case. The DA who has been elected back in January understands and acknowledges what she will be facing in the future, that there will be against a team of lawyers that undoubtedly attacks any indictment.

Willis says that they are “just going to use the law and the facts. If that means I’m only the DA for one term… that’ll be what God has me do for these four years.”

The prosecutor replaced the county’s ‘public integrity unit’ with a new anti-corruption team, looking past the surface of police misconduct.

Raymond Baez, reporter, attended an interview to keep his job. The investigator had persuaded Willis at how furious he was with the corruption of the police force in Puerto Rico, resulting in a promotion to assistant chief.

Willis decided that this job was meant for her after being on a trial for rape where Brian Nichols, perpetrator, escaped custody and murdered the judge who had deemed him guilty.

Taking precautionary measures, Willis also hired a lawyer who had climbed to his peak by defending public officials accused of corruption, saying that “he didn’t have any blemishes.”

“I’m having to broaden the unit… it never looked at election fraud before now.”
