Tragic reports have confirmed the death of two people who were reportedly found inside the landing gear of a JetBlue flight that was heading for Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood Airport in Florida.
The bodies found on the flight were said to have departed from JFK Airport in New York and were found on Monday evening during a routine maintenance check by the workers.
The remains were inside the landing gear compartment of the jet as shared by the media outlets Daily Mail recently. Now, officials are discussing this matter and investigating how exactly those people got inside that plane.
The deputies from the Sheriff’s department share more on the matter including how medical examiners were asked to report to the scene for assistance and they pronounced them dead.
The autopsies on the bodies were performed and right now, the investigation continues. However, they have yet to offer any identities of who those victims were and what exactly they were doing inside the landing gear department.
JetBlue has since then confirmed the incident but failed to share more details on this matter. They called the matter heartbreaking and vowed to share more information as the investigation carried on.
