Audrey and Jack Newton inherited their family’s farmhouse.
They moved back in when their parents passed away.
The siblings lived in the nine-bedroom Queen Anne-styled home for more than 70 years. They used to farm the 115 acres land attached to their home but never updated gadgets or furniture inside the house.
They were both unmarried and had no children. When Audrey died in 2011, and Jack passed away four years later, there were no living relatives to inherit their house.
The deserted Grange Farm was set to be auctioned off. When the auctioneers checked the insides of the house, they were surprised of what they saw.
The living room of the house hasn’t been updated since the 1940s.
The piano displays sheet music from the early 20’s, and a collection of old Disney songs.
The kitchen contains a set of pans that were built to last and an old-fashioned stove.

Instead of using a fridge, the siblings relied on natural methods to keep their food fresh.
