We all have seen many classical paintings for years.
But have you ever think of seeing these antique figures in a modern day scenario? What if they suddenly started to live amongst us.
I’ve never thought about before but one talented Ukrainian artist Alexey Kondakov has made it. He used Photoshop to bring some of these wonderful pieces of art into the modern world. He started a series known as “The Daily Life of Gods” which is mostly set in Kiev.
You are able to see the figure from different artists in his works. They are simply eating at a local lunch joint, napping in public places, selling flowers, sitting at bars, and even taking public transportations.
His secret trick to look real was to add color by using completely different colors from those used in the original paintings.
In this one, we can see the lady with a peering look taking a train while holding a book.
Who would have ever thought that a shepherd carrying his sheep would take a bus?
Well, it must have been a great night for this young lady. It seems like she just came out of a club to grab a snack and just passed out.
Wow, I thought, for a second, it is a picture of a nude beach!
She actually looks like a flower vendor waiting for customers. If you take a look at her biceps, you will be surprised at how brilliant he is.
Am I seeing right? I think Zeus is the DJ of this party. And on his left, is he a Pan?

This one looks like those mornings after the party night.

It’s amazing what a little Photoshop can do. It made the pictures more open to interpretation and I guess that is what makes the life more interesting.
