A private group called Operation Underground Railroad has been finding and rescuing abducted children to return them to their families.
Thousands of children are abducted for slavery every year and this group is helping those children and their families by bringing them back together.
The founder of the group Tim Ballard, his partner Dutch with the help of Elizabeth Smart, Laurie Holden, and hundreds of volunteers started the group to save the lives of abducted children.
Tim Ballard said: “This problem requires a worldwide response. It takes millions of people to rise up and say… enough is enough!”
In one of their operations called Operation Whale Watch, twenty-four young women were rescued in Latin America.
The five traffickers are now facing 15-30 years in prison.
The operation leader said: “This was a sophisticated crime ring.
The real deal. These guys controlled the drugs and the women, creating heightened security risks.”

One of Operation Underground Railroad missions has been made into a documentary called The Abolitionists Movie.
The documentary shows how the group rescues the abducted children by entrapping the traffickers.
The founder of the Operation Underground Railroad, Tim Ballard, worked as a Special Agent for the Department of Homeland Security for more than a decade.
Ballard has also worked undercover in the United States and in multiple foreign countries.
He founded Operation Underground Railroad in an effort to save children and women from traffickers.
The group is now working to dismantle child exploitation and the trafficking of children in the nation’s communities.
