BMX freestyler rider and trans athlete Chelsea Wolfe threatened to burn the American flag on the Olympian podium.
The famous sportsperson who identifies as a transgender woman will be representing the USA as an alternative at this year’s Olympics championship, which is scheduled to be held in Tokyo during the summer this year.
But now, critics are raising concerns over the athlete as she had previously mentioned how her goal is to burn the American flag on the Olympic podium.
“My ultimate goal is to win the Olympics championship so that I can burn the American flag as it hails on the podium,” she added, Moreover, the athlete spoke about the unfair rules that have gone about hurting so many young trans children along the way.
Her shocking stance was revealed through a Facebook message via her account in March of 2020. This came alongside a link to PinkNews’ story which spoke about how wrong the Trump adminstration’s stance was regarding transgender athletes participating in the world of female athletics.
Meanwhile, Wolfe recently spoke with Fox News and mentioned in another post, that has now been removed, how her posts shouldn’t be taken the wrong way. “If you think that I don’t care about my home country, think again!” she boldly exclaimed.
