Vanessa Bryant Found A Card Her Late Husband Kobe Wrote For Her Four Months After His Passing


As late Kobe Bryant’s widow Vanessa turned 38 this week, she found a card specially written for her by Kobe.

Vanessa revealed that she found a letter written by her late husband about four months after his tragic and untimely death in a helicopter crash with their daughter Gianna.

“Yesterday I found an envelope labeled To: The Love of my Life,” Vanessa posted on her Instagram page. “From, Tu Papi ❤️I waited to open one more letter on my birthday.

“It gave me something to look forward to today.”

She added: “❤️Missing the Love of my Life and my sweet little Mamacita- my fellow Taurus. Grateful to wake up to my 3 sweet girls today. Wish we were all together. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

With this caption, Vanessa also shared a photo of the envelope.

Last month, Vanessa shared how she would’ve celebrated her 19th wedding anniversary with Kobe.

Vanessa and Kobe had a total of four daughters, Natalia, 17, Gianna, 14, who died in the helicopter crash with her dad, Bianka, 3, and Capri, who’s just 10-month-old.

Vanessa’s birthday has come just after the date when Gianna would’ve turned 14.

Vanessa shared her own tribute to her late “sweet baby girl,” and also shared the pictures of a cake sent in honor of Gianna by Pau Gasol, and his wife Catherine McDonnell.

Pau was Kobe’s teammate when he played for Los Angeles Lakers.

On the white and gold cake, the words “Happy birthday Gigi” were written and the whole thing was covered in multicolored butterflies.

On the bottom, there was a banner displaying Gianna’s nickname “Mambacita.”

“Thank you @paugasol @catmcdonnel7,” Vanessa, 37, captioned the photo of the cake.

Pau, who was on the Los Angeles Lakers team from 2008 to 2014, and his wife did not only send a cake to the mourning family of Kobe, the couple also took to Instagram to share a picture of themselves clasping hands while wearing red bracelets in honor of Gianna.

“Happy birthday Gigi!” Pau captioned the photo. “Missing you an extra lot today.”
