Having vodka shots or cocktails is pretty common while on a night out.
To stand out, innovation was necessary and one company nailed the new way of consuming alcohol.
Vapshot is an American firm that is now selling vodka mist in UK nightclubs at £5 for a pop. The vodka mist made a debut in July at Gallery Nightclub Maidstone and sold more than thirteen hundred shots.
Each vaporized shot has a fraction of a single drop of alcohol filled into disposable latex balloons. The website says that Vapshots are designed to allow its consumers to experience the fun part drinking alcohol without its bad parts.
They let the consumer feel a great buzz for the rest of the night while lowering the chance of suffering a hangover the next day.
The Vapshots consist of 1/60th amount of a normal liquor shot. So, they reduce the adverse health effects of drinking alcohol.
Inhaling the vodka in vaporized form enables the alcohol to quickly enter the bloodstream than it would if consumed in its liquid form. Vapshot says that its service will be the future of the alcohol industry and referred to its service as a safer way.
However, health professions have issues warnings that this new way consuming vodka could lead to problems.
The director of Alcohol Change, Andrew Misell, was quoted saying that if alcohol enters the lungs, it would straightaway go to your bloodstream. This way one can be very drunk very quickly causing issues like alcohol poisoning.
To counter such arguments, Vapshot said that there is no proof regarding the harmful effects of inhaling vodka. It added that Vapshots decrease the risk of drunk driving and might result in reduced number of drunk driving accident.
A single shot of alcohol mist will only blow up to 0.05 on a breathalyzer and after thirty minutes, the blow would fall down to 0.00.
